Reduced Emissions at Pennsylvania Steel Plant

IncSmart Pennsylvania (Small Business and Startups) - US Steel is investing over $1 Billion dollars in state of the art upgrades to reduced emissions at Pennsylvania steel plant south of Pittsburgh.  The Edgar Thompson Plant in Mon Valley Works facility will reduce emissions that convert coke oven gas into electricity that will power other sections of the steel plant.  US Steel will build a cogeneration power plant at it's Clairton Coke Works.  The introduction of the new technology will start in 2022.
