IncSmart Georgia (Small Business and Startups) - Holon Solutions, locate in Alpharetta Georgia, is awarded a US Patent for it's patient data software.  This new software platform will allow for health providers to find and correct patient care gaps.  The new system called CollaborNet, will show data from all healthcare companies instead of just the healthcare company software where the patient is located.  Patient date can now be located on any electronic health record.

IncSmart Minnesota (Small Business and Startups) - Minnesota Flood Diversion plans on saving property on the Red River is moving along.  Cities in both Minnesota and North Dakota have been buying houses along the Red River at a steady paced, and replacing them with flood levies and walls.  The record flood in 2009, forced the residents to fill over 7 million sandbags in 10 days.  The original cost by the US Army Corps of Engineers was $1.4 billion dollars, but has increased to over $2.75 billion.

Lauderdale are two of the busiest ports in the world.

IncSmart Oregon (Small Business and Startups) -Daimler to convert Oregon factory in Portland to produce electric trucks.  The trucks are freightliner trucks.  Oregon was chosen for it's proximity to California.  Daimler has received a $15 million dollar grant from SCAQMD, which is South Coast Air Quality Management in California.

IncSmart North Carolina (Small Business and Startups) - Chewy Inc, the online retailer for pet products, picks North Carolina for it's new fulfillment center.  They will locate it's new fulfillment center in Rowan County, and a groundbreaking will be in May.  They plan to invest $55 million dollars in the new center.  This new center will improve the delivery of products to the Southeast United States.  The construction of the new facility will be 700,000 square foot.

Kentucky Builds New Corvette



IncSmart Kentucky (Small Business and Startups) - Kentucky builds new Corvette in Kentucky and the model will be revealed in July 18, 2019, and is expected to go on sale in 2020.  This is a huge benefit for the Bowling Green community.  The Corvette has been built exclusively in Bowling Green for the last 40 years, and General Motors has invested over $900 million dollars into this facility.  The plant has built over 1 million Corvettes.  The price of the Corvette start at $80,000.

IncSmart Nevada (Small Business and Startups) - Nevada opens $150 million Minor League ball park in Summerlin with free parking for fans.  The new ball park is home of the Aviators, the Oakland As minor team.  Las Vegas tourism official also anteed up $80 million dollars for the project.  The ball park is within walking distance of the Red Rock Hotel and Casino.

Russian Company Invests in Kentucky

IncSmart Kentucky (Small Business and Startups) - Russian company invests in Kentucky.  The new mill is being built in the Appalachia area near Ashland on the tri state area of the Ohio River.   Construction will include hiring 1500 construction workers d.  After completion the firm will add an additional 650 full time employees.  The plants start date will be early 2021.

Tenaska Closes Financing for Missouri Project



IncSmart Missouri (Small Business and Startups) - Tenaska closes financing for Missouri project in Nodaway County.  The wind project in Clear Creek Energy Center is under construction.  The wind farm will become operational later this year.  Tenaska is based in Omaha Nebraska.  Commercial operations are scheduled to start in 2020.   Tenaska will build and operate the wind farm. The onshore wind farm chose Nodaway because of its high wind location.

South Dakota Joins Fermi Lab Experiment

IncSmart South Dakota (Small Business and Startups) - South Dakota joins the Fermi Lab experiment with Kiewit Alberici bringing jobs to Lead.  The science experiment is growing and expanding at the Sanford underground Research Facility, and is expected to hire between 30 to 100 employees.  The office will be located in downtown Lead at the Gold Rush Plaza.  Subcontracts will be awarded to local contractors.  Contracts will last as long as 5 years.  Lead is an old mining town located in the Black Hills region of South Dakota,  home of the Homestake Miming Company.

Maryland to Ban Styrofoam

IncSmart Maryland (Small Business and Startups) - Maryland to become the first state to band Styrofoam as lawmakers vote for approval.  The state will become the first in the union to establish a ban, with Hawaii next in line,  The effective date will be July 1st, 2020.  Many counties such as Montgomery and Prince George have already established a ban.  The state is looking to create a cleaner Baltimore Harbor.  Over 100,000 Styrofoam containers washed down Jones Fall in 2018.  Maryland to Ban Styrofoam
